The California Small Business Association works with over 30 small
business organizations and state legislators to advocate for business

National Women's Business Council
As advisors to the President, Congress and the Small Business Administration, the National Women's Business Council is a bi-partisan, federal advisory
council created to serve as an independent source of advice and policy
recommendations to the President, Congress, and the U.S. Small Business
Administration on economic issues of importance to women business
owners.
The Council's mission is to promote bold initiatives, policies and
programs designed to support women's business enterprises at all stages
of development in the public and private sector marketplaces -- from
start-up to success to significance.
Members of the Council are prominent women business owners and leaders of women's business organizations. The Council is committed to:
- Conducting research on issues of importance to women business owners and their organizations
- Communicating these findings widely
- Connecting the women's business community to one another and to public policy makers
- Providing a platform for change in order to expand and improve opportunities for women business owners and their enterprises

Women's Business Connection
The NWBC hosts the Women's Business Connection, a FREE monthly conference call for women business owners in policy discussions on current economic and business issues, as well as information for business growth and expansion. Conference calls feature key members of the federal government, public policy organizations, and business and industry leaders, and address a variety of relevant topics including access to affordable health care, access to training and technical assistance, and access to capital. Women's Business Connection also provides a forum for women business owners to voice their thoughts, concerns and public policy priorities.

Women's Business Connection is held on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 3:00 p.m. ET . Participants can join the call by dialing 1-877-326-2337 (toll-free) and entering the code 3687613# (this number stays the same for each call). No advance registration is required!
