The Center for Women's Business Research is the premier source
of knowledge about women business owners and their enterprises worldwide.
Since 1989, the Center has documented the economic and social contributions
of women business owners and challenged the perceptions of this
expanding economic force.
The Center for Women's Business Research team conducts high-visibility
research projects on landmark topics. Policymakers, private and
public sector leaders, and women business advocates, and women business
owners use our knowledge to expand entrepreneurial opportunities
for women worldwide. The Center's research is used to:
- reinforce a women business owner’s case when seeking public
and private sector support, commercial financing, and lucrative
corporate and government contracts
- provide the rationale for developing new programs and outreach
strategies
- generate visibility for women business owners and the corporations
and organizations that support them
- add depth to academic and training courses on entrepreneurship.
